I so loved this story and it's true in USA as well..I respect your husband's stance and only wish to ask if it had been a woman would it have ended the same? Doubt it..hysterically female response is a real pet peavey of mine..
Thanks. Well, my husband has a great ability to make women feel good, without them ever feeling that he is 'coming on' to them (which he is not). It's hard for women to do the same, but we can be very nice and thoughtful and that certainly helps.
It takes forever to get out of the hospital in the USA too, which is always surprising, considering our health services are entirely motivated by profit. It did seem to speed up at the height of the pandemic though. My son had an emergency appendectomy and they got him out right at his promised check out time two days later. Maybe they’ll all be quicker at letting patients escape after these last few years!

It's amazing how often the medical system needs to be reminded that we are in charge of our own bodies, decisions and destinies! Love it 😀
