Welcome to The Granny Who Stands on her Head, a fortnightly newsletter containing my very miscellaneous thoughts about life, death, sex and loads of things in between.

I wrote a book with this title about why I liked being old (I am 81 and by almost any indicator, that is old), but it was also seen as a ‘celebration of life’ by some of my readers. I continue to write articles about anything that takes my fancy, so I decided to make these available to a wider readership.

These articles are for anyone who is worried about growing older and wants some reassurance that life can continue to be fun. Or for those who are already old and who would like to read a positive view of this stage in life. Or for anyone who happens to like my writing.
